It is very painful watching you go through this.

Apparently, you have made a huge emotional and probably financial investment in her, and that's what's keep you from walking out on her. Believe me, if she did this once, she will do it again. Maybe she loves you but apparently, she loves the smell of money more. Its quite likely that things are going rotten with her older "boyfriend" and she wants to come back to you for some stability, maybe even some love, but I've seen this tragedy played out many times, starring almost the same scenes a couple of times over the years. Good girls can go bad. Bad girls can get worse. I do not know of (though there may be) a girl who goes from good to bad and then back to good.

38 years and counting here with basically the same story as y'all. Did we find the proverbially one-in-a-million? My wife just keeps saying,"I am SO happy to not have lived a hard life as my sisters have." No demands for anything, no demands for gold. No demands for a "sick-buffalo" fund. We live amongst family while in the Isaan and are happy to do so. I have never been asked to support anyone for any reason. We have sent nieces to school, but that is returned by their help for their parents. I just sit in amazement at reading stories of woe and rip-offs.
