Arsenal v Tottenham Thurs 15th 0200

Postby part-timer » April 11, 2010, 8:27 pm

Does anyone know of a bar / restaurant / place that will be showing this game on tv?

Anywhere that has UBC can show it but I'm not sure if there is a decent place to watch it at 2am...........

cheers

Personally speaking, I would fly back to the UK, pick up a ticket and go and watch the game.
OT did make the journey from UT to the UK to watch England play at Old Trafford once, then got on the next planes back.
One other alternative is to pull a "well fit bird" who has UBC and watch round her place.

OT....being very helpful as usual.. \:D/

At the moment it looks like I'm only left with the "well fit bird" route but I don't think the wife will be over the moon about that......

Any more ideas?

I think you will struggle with finding a bar open to show it PT. It is, after all, illegal for them to be open at that time & any in D&N or NP have a fair bit of visibility. Although it is always possible that one would close its' doors & just show the football :-" I don't think they would be advertising the fact by any means but word of mouth.
Your other route might be a Thai restaurant that stays open late. I know that the one opposite AEK does not usually shut until 4 am & that if live Premiership games are on they always show them. The only problem might be getting a table with a good view of 1 of the TVs as they do get busy...
