CAT Internet have recently reduced their monthly service plans by 20%. So today I called up to query why I'm still paying the old rate. They advised me the discount only applies to new registrations. However if I pay 300 baht plus to upgrade the account I will be eligible for the discount, otherwise I will continue paying the old rate. I'm fairly happy with the speed I'm on at the moment so I have no plans to upgrade, however I feel a little annoyed the new promotion rate doesn't apply to existing customers. So I asked them what would happen if I canceled and signed up again, after a pause they said I would be eligible for the new promotion rate.
