Curtain Cleaners in Udon?

Postby zoomzoom » April 14, 2010, 4:53 pm

I'm looking for a dry cleaning company that can handle curtains.

If they can, also, provide a collection and re-hanging service that would be a big bonus (I've already taken them down).

Any help would be very much appreciated.

For cleaning, we use the one on Tokanuson road. N13 on the map. On the left side, before Phosi road, as you are heading towards the Central Plaza from the Statue circle. Across the street is a shop that does the manufacturing and installation.

They sound great. If they have vans then they must collect/deliver!

Please let me have their details.

Thanks for the reply but do you know if they dry clean curtains?

Also, do they collect/deliver and re-hang?

Great efforts in pointing to local curtain cleaners, thanks.

While living in Hawaii, expensive Goose Down pillows were sent for dry cleaning.
They came back smelling so terribly strong of cleaning solvent, had to throw them away.

We have beautiful triple layer curtains now. Might anyone have the answer to these follow up
questions regarding the quality of work done by the curtain cleaners mentioned?

When cleaned curtains are returned; have they been professionally cared for, do they smell clean, or
heavy of cleaning solvent?

Knowing this is little, Udon, what can one expect? SNAFU?

Thanks,
Doc

My Thai G/F found a company that is supposed to provide the curtain cleaning (etc) for many large companies/government departments in Udon and they came and collected yesterday (Sunday).

When she is back, in Udon, I will get her to provide full contact details - then, also, give my personal rating of what they did (they also re-hang).

The are supposed to be rehanging on Sunday 25th.

Hey, zoomzoom, that's exciting info, thanks for taking the time.
Quality service companies are hard to find, sometimes years, in places like this.
Am anxiously awaiting your report.

Thanks,
Doc
