English Bitter

Does anyone know of a bar in Udon where you can enjoy a pint (ok ok litre/can whatever ) of english bitter?

hairyharry, i think they sell killkenny bitter on draught in the irish clock. Not English i know but drinkable, heres the bad news, if your planning on having a few, then take plenty of dosh, it dont come cheap.

With the exception of John Smith's in Patters the closest I have come to 'Bitter' was in the Londoner brew pub in Bangkok, although the Tawendaeng in Bangers did a very good golden lager without the 'German' taste.

I still keep wanting to try the brew place in Kohn Khen and see what they have to offer, but they didnt open in the afternoons so ended up getting merry in Duncan's bar across the road on Chang

Thanks for the responses. I'm a little surprised - I can go to a bar in Kohn Kaen and get Tetleys, you can buy Marstons Pedigree in Chen Chim (at 150 baht a can it certainly isn't cheap but my fridge is stacked with it ). I appreciate this isn't quite the same but it's a lot bitter than nothing. Oh well, keeping fingers crossed that one of the go-getters in Udon will experiment in an effort to get additional traffic - just as long as it isn't a French bar
