Khon Kaen Immigration Office Now Open

Great news or all KKC Expat residents. The new Immigration Office in Khon Kaen is now open for business, but.............

At this moment in time the office can ONLY process 90 Day Reports, BUT, they do NOT have any forms for you to do this. You need to take a completed form (download from internet) together with a copy of of your Passport, and Hey Presto, no more driving to Nong Khai.

The young lady currently processing 90 Day Reports advises that she will be joined by 6 or 7 other Officers in the next 2 to 3 months, when they will become fully operational and process everything else.

The office is located on Route 2 going out of town, towards Udon Thani. When you get to the University entrance traffic lights be prepared for the first U-Turn after the lights - DO NOT U-Turn at the traffic lights, but continue towards Udon. Take the U-Turn and the entrance is directly on your left. It is located in the grounds of the Police Training Area 4, but alas, the sign is currently only in Thai.
