New Golf Course in Khon Kaen?

Any truth to the rumor? Due to open later this month.

did read about one back in december being built near the Khon kaen brewery but did'nt think it would be open for a year or so.

I believe it is south of Khon Kaen on Highway 208, near the Singh brewery.

To all avid golfers.
Today I had a meeting with SINGHA beer's executives over another matter and they told me that they are constructing a new 18 hole "5 Star" golf course on land adjacent to the Khon Kaen brewery, work is apparently well underway regarding the course but it will be approx 18 to 24 months before it will be ready. They emphisised that it will be 5 Star and well beyond the standard of other courses in the area.
When I hear anymore I will post and keep everyone informed.
