Passport Photos???

Postby BobHelm » December 1, 2008, 5:34 pm

I need a new passport & so need two pictures.
Anyone recommend anywhere specific that can do - the UK passport office are pretty precise about their expectations of EXACTLY what is required size & background wise. I have downloaded these specifications, so someone that could read English would be a real bonus!!!

There's a place on the corner of Srisuk and Naresuan Rd (grid J-12), across from the prison where we got our photos done. I think it's called Fuji, anyway I remember seeing a chart of different size photos they do. I'm sure they can fix you up if you show them what your requirement is.

If they can't do what the UK passport office wants, just wait until you go to Bangkok and use one of the facilities just outside the embassy. They'll know what the requirements are, but will be a bit more pricey than here.

My 50 satang's worth. Photo place on 3rd floor of the complex can probably handle different size requirements. Had some done for visa extension a few months ago.

Had passport photos taken opposite Mojos today. 120Baht for 6. Told them they were for Loas Visa. At 6"X 5" they seem a little big to me.

Seems the move around the corner has also meant an increase in price for them Galee, my last lot of passport picts were 20 for 200 baht, smaller size - yes and they were used for Lao, Algeria, and Libya.

Thanks wazza. Went yesterday, as Galee says 6 for 120 baht, easy to see which one I needed, quickly done but had to come back in an hour to pick them up.
