The Mac I picked up in BKK had a lot of extra software. So the first thing I did was a back up! I did not ask for anything, and they did not offer me anything. They just said when I pick it up the next day, they would have it setup and up-to-date.

Being a retired programmer and getting no royalties for anything I wrote, (ea: parts of a muliti million dollar wire transfer system); I therefore believe in "Open Source", always have! Why re-invent the wheel!
