been raining on and off, but actually not bad. don't mind the overcast, less sun help cool it off a bit. but i like rainy season. good mix of sun, clouds and rain, hopefully stay this way for rest of season.

Hi Yorky, I had a phone call yesterday with a gentleman from your homecountry asking what the weather was like in Duesseldorf, where I live and work, and if it was possible to play golf. No problem I said, the weather is fine and we are expecting a bit of rain in the evening. Oh, he said, we in UK almost do not know what rain is like as we are living in such a hot and dry country. We both ended up laughing. Best regards , wishing you a bit sunshine Carsten

Hi Carsten
And the taxes are only 1%.
And everyone continually smiles and wishes you a good day.
And property is affordable for the young.
And the traditional British pint is less than 1 pound.
And the working week is 20hours.
And the health service is the best in the world
And the pensions paid to the elderly are sufficient fo their needs.
And you can leave your door open without fear of crime.
And you can admire the politicians as honest decent people.
And .... do i have to go on?

Well we can all dream can't we? :?:

Light showers :?: We just dodged another hurricane here and now it's heading right at Pensacola as a Cat 4

hmmm, no hurricanes or typhoons known to hit Udonthani. Another reason....

Sounds like it will take the old hometown at least a month to recover from the last forum meeting, alright. Wonder who won the saam law race? My money was on Paul's bike. [-o<

Hurricane Dennis was here and gone but now Emily is a'brewing out in the Atlantic, they say. No Udon connection, I know, 'cept when you're about to get hammered you start thinkin', "WHAT AM I DOING HERE?" :fryingpan:

Any idea as to what's causing all these hurricanes and nasty weather stuff so early in the year in USA?

Could it be the devastating after effect of the huge volume of hot air and extraneous winds emitted by politicians during an election year?
