Urban Sprawl

We took a ride out to Sam Prao (สามพร้าว) to take a look at the new Rahjapat campus. I included a few photos for those who might be interested. The campus will be 13+km from Global and about 15ish from the center of town. Don't know exactly what's being planned on the campus (dorms, shopping, etc), but there's not a hint of anything being built within 5 km of the campus and not much in the town of Sam Prao itself.
Does anyone know what might become of the downtown campus when the new one opens?
My guess is, the road to Sam Prao will be a busy one once the university opens its doors.
