There are hose pipe bans in the UK almost every year with the possibility of fines if captured. I've never took any notice. I also use the mains water to fill the duck pond when the water level drops even when those hose pipe bans are in place.
BTW - it p1sses down with rain 99% of the time in England so I take the view that the water Co. are bluffing.
I'll probably pick up a fine this summer now I've opened my mouth.

There doesnt appear to be a water shortage in the vicinity of Adunyadhet rd at the moment !!

Look on the bright side ......... at least the drains are getting a gentle "flush through".
If, as happens quite regularly the first heavy rains come a few days BEFORE songkran, the drains are still blocked, and the water (and everything else) ends up flowing along the streets.
