Weetabix

Postby trubrit » April 1, 2010, 10:34 am

For lovers of the UK breakfast cereal Weetabix. Produced in Northampton England . That may have been having problems finding it in the shops lately.

It has been withdrawn from Thailand owing to a marketing territorial dispute with a similar product from Australia .
However it has now reappeared on the shelves labelled differently but still the original product .

The good news it is now packed in 24"s and is cheaper .
I got mine from Tops in the center .

Your posts about Weetabix, brought back nightmare style memories of breakfast in the Forties....hated Weetabix as much as I did Shredded Wheat....uuuuurrrrrrr.
My favourite was Kellogs Cornflakes, with loads and loads of sugar !

Saw it on the shelves at Tesco a couple of weeks back, but didn't buy it coz I assumed it was a copy and not the "real thing"
