Where to buy baby things...

Any advice on where to buy baby items like high chairs, strollers, etc...? I believe Robinson's Department Store has some but any others out there worth checking? Thanks much.

Having just gone through this recently, we found that the Tang Nge Soon Superstore has a good selection of strollers, coaches, walkers, car seats, etc. at prices well below the rest. You have to look for them though, they are stacked up under plastic at the far left front side of the store. Just ask and they will dig them out for you. We had a guy that was very helpful, showed us the various models, demonstrated how they worked, even dismantled an already setup crib so we could fit it in the car. Also their price on diapers is much lower than Tesco and the like.

Tesco and Carrefour also carry a limited selection of gear, but their prices were higher than Tang, although much lower than Robinson's.

Thanks so much for the info on Tang Nge Soon Superstore. I live in Nakhon Phanom & have only been to Udon Thani a few times so I'm not sure where that store is located. Would you please give general directions to get there? I know where Big C is, the Chaoren Hotel, & the large indoor shopping center where Robinson's is located.

Ngee Soon is a sponsor of Udonmap. Here is their website which contains a map which should get you there.

http://www.udonmap.com/ngeesoon/

It is on the road to Loei, highway 210. Also on this road are the new Tesco and Carrefour, one right after the other, so if you are coming to the "big city" for a shopping trip, it would be convenient to load up at all three.

Good Luck and happy shopping! :D
