Having read the comments, all I can glean from this , is that a person wrote a public complaint about a meal he had eaten in an establishment in Udon Thani.
This was, if a genuine complaint , his preogative and I am sure that the owner of the said place would in my view probably contact the person via a PM and set up a dialogue in private to iron out any differences or problems regarding said meal.
Many of us in the past and will also in the future eat a meal at places where the standard is not as high as one expects, or even to ones own taste buds. Complaining does and can bring about a resolution if the complaint is motivated by a desire to bring the matter to the owners attention in order that the problem if that is what is is, can be rectified for the benefit of not only that customer but other customers as well. Most owners will relish a constructive complaint.
The other complaint which attempts to degrade the establishment in the eyes of others is not acceptable, and I must point out that I do feel that although Tutone may have a valid complaint, this forum was not really the way to air it, he should have spoken directly to the owner at some time if not at the precise moment of eating in order that any culinary problems could be sorted.
I have tried to always bring to the attention of ' Mine Hosts ', whenever I have a problem in the culinary delights they offer if I personally do not feel it acceptable, I do not feel it is incumbent upon me to post a place where the food is bad, privately I might say to a friend about it but not on a public forum.
I have never eaten at the Book Shop, but I have had good reviews from others who have partaken of its delights. I may dip my toe in the proverbial and titilate my tastebuds with its delectable delicacies at some time in the future.
