Window Explorer/ Firefox

Postby bumper » December 27, 2009, 4:39 pm

You know I still can't sign on here with firefox but can everything esle. Two sites I can't sign on with Windows Explorer, but can use on everything else. Color me confused.

The ideal would be to use firefox on here.

This is the second thread I started on this followed the intructions everyone suggested. Now I change back and forth not so bad really don't have much to offer in the way of something new exciting after so many years. I can still read the forum that's not bad. Heck of a lot less arguments  :pirate:

Hmmmm... i don't have any problems using firefox (version 3.5.6). If firefox is working on other sites, maybe you should clear all the cookies, cache and browser history.

If the above does not work then it may well be something to do with the settings/options inside firefox, so try uninstalling firefox and replacing with a fresh installation.

I agree with BB.

If you have a lot invested in FF, then google for a small program named Moz Backup. You can save your bookmarks, passwords, etc etc.

Then download FF (?3.5) without installing, and uninstall your current version Re-install the new version. I have just this evening done precisely that, and hope that a problem I have (using Vista) has been resolved.

I really shouldn't PUI :D

Xmarks is a great add on for Firefox. It will sync your bookmarks and optionally your passwords up to the internet. So, you can use your bookmarks/passwords from anywhere you are using FF.
